The Hunter RZWS-CAP Replacement Screw-Locking Cap is the factory-replacement screw-type cap for older-style Hunter RZWS-18 and RZWS-36 rotary sprinkler heads. Unlike the newer snap-on models, these use a threaded locking mechanism to secure the cap in high-traffic turf areas where an unsecured cap could be displaced by aerating equipment, foot traffic, or aggressive mowing.

Keeping rotary sprinkler heads properly capped when not in use prevents grass clippings, soil, and insects from entering the spray body, which can clog nozzles, affect arc adjustments, and reduce system performance. Replacing worn or missing caps immediately is a low-cost way to extend the life of your RZWS heads and reduce service calls.
